The timeless classic "The Sound of Music" was released in 1965 and was a huge hit, becoming the highest grossing film of all time and winning 5 Academy Awards. The family musical starring Julie Andrews as free spirited nun turned nanny Maria features such songs as "My Favourite Things", "Do-Re-Mi" and the titular track.
This stunning US One-Sheet features artwork from American artist Howard Terpning and is in fantastic condition. It has been linen backed for support and preservation, with no restoration carried out prior to backing, and has never been folded. Our conservation guide explains what linen backing does and how it differs from restoration.
