Brilliant kinetic poster created as one of 21 commissioned by COJO to promote the 21 sports on the program of the 21st Olympiad, the 1976 Summer Olympic Games held in Montreal, Canada. The Soviet Union won the most gold medals at the event, with 29 countries boycotting the games over the committees decision to not ban New Zealand following their tour of apartheid South Africa.
COJO commissioned these posters from tens of thousands of images from the 1972 Munich Olympic Games to represent each of the sports at the event, this vibrant piece is for the cycling events.
