Released in 1965, "Marriage on the Rocks" is a romantic comedy directed by Jack Donohue and starring Frank Sinatra, Deborah Kerr, Dean Martin, Nancy Sinatra and Joi Lansing. The story follows advertising executive Dan Edwards and his neglected wife Valerie, whose attempt to revive their marriage during a trip to Mexico results in an accidental divorce and an even more unexpected marriage to Dan’s carefree best friend.
The film reunited Sinatra and Martin in their final substantial feature collaboration for almost two decades and paired them with Kerr in a glossy mid-1960s farce. Its mistaken marriages, glamorous settings and Nelson Riddle score make it a vivid example of the sophisticated studio comedies associated with Sinatra’s screen persona during the period.
This original US one-sheet was issued for the film’s original 1965 theatrical release.
