Huge yellow eyes and the dramatic letter X dominate this original 1963 poster for The Man with the X-Ray Eyes. Smaller scenes beneath hint at the strange and unsettling journey ahead, creating a bold piece of horror advertising with an unmistakable early-sixties character.
Roger Corman’s film stars Ray Milland as a scientist whose experiments allow him to see beyond ordinary human vision. What begins as a breakthrough becomes a disturbing exploration of curiosity and its limits. Corman’s resourceful filmmaking and Milland’s committed performance give the story an impact that reaches well beyond its modest scale, echoed by the poster’s arresting imagery.
